While Amy, Dane and Emily enjoyed family time, mom and I headed to Half Moon Bay. This area of California is especially meaningful to me as I got travel there while I worked for the flower company several years back. It has some of the most beautiful scenery, and is a quaint little town. It is one of my most favorite places!

This beach surely doesn't have the white sand of Destin, Florida! The kayaker's had to wear wet suits!

We headed south thru Santa Cruz and to the marina and wharf of Monterey!
It was a long day of travel, but worth it for the food and views!!!
